Perhaps you currently have minibusses, and your drivers need additional training?

With almost 20 years of experience our team pride themselves in getting to know our customers; offering a transport service that is personable, dependable, and friendly. Ugobus provides tailored transport throughout Essex and is Essex County Council's in-house minibus fleet of over 80 accessible minibuses, with tail lifts and equipment for wheelchair travel.

  • The fleet undertakes contracted work to meet specific accessibility needs for adults and children and support local community transport provision (see the table below where we currently offer transport)

  • Provides student/mainstream transport to colleges and schools

  • 16-seater accessible vehicles can be hired with an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked driver by non-profit organisations and registered charities

  • Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) training and vehicle assessments.

We are currently looking for part-time and full-time drivers across Essex.

We offer our drivers fully funded training including*:

  • a D1 category license (for vehicles up to 16 seats)

  • a comprehensive induction to driving passengers with additional needs

  • Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)

  • Health and Safety

  • First Aid Training

  • Dementia awareness

  • Epilepsy
